HIS CADET STORY:

Ed tells the story that he remembers hearing the Corps play “Oklahoma” in the early 1950’s, and became a Holy Name Cadet fan immediately.

 

His Cadet story begins with the Cadet Plebe organization when his three children joined the corps.  In 1973, he was asked to become the Cadet Corps Director, a volunteer position he held for four (4) years.  During his time, he helped to improve the Corps after a disappointing placement in the 1972 DCI Championships, when many members either aged out, or chose to leave. 

 

Mr. Frenzel stayed the course, and within three (3) short years, brought the Corps it’s first finals placement in DCI History in 1975.
