HIS CADET STORY:
Beginning his drum corps career in 1982 as a bass drummer, Michael has gone on to become one of the preeminent brass arrangers in the history of Drum Corps International.
At just twenty-three (23) years old, Michael became the Cadets Brass Caption Supervisor and arranger, helping the Corps reach it’s third championship DCI title in 1985.
A gifted arranger and composer, Michael has also established himself as an equally talented and effective educator, working with a number of corps after his many years with the Cadets including Phantom Regiment, Spirit, Colts, Crossmen and Carolina Crown among others
